Weldon has been involved in the conservation, restoration and recreation of many historic floors from Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace to the British Galleries at the V & A Museum and floors purchased by Charles Dickens for his home at Gad's Hill.

The successful restoration and conservation of antique floors requires an in-depth knowledge of architectural history. Jasper Weldon is passionate about the subject and is currently writing a book about the history of hardwood flooring, from it's earliest use as a floor covering in the Tudor period through to the present day.
